At university Guido Deutsch discovered the potential of Data Mining for himself, and participated very successful in Data Mining contests. His study gave him the option to write his thesis at the British Telecom Group Chief Technology Office – Intelligent Systems Research Centre. This big player in telco has one of the world largest Data Mining research labs. Guido Deutsch graduated with the integration of a new Data Mining algorithm into the British Telecoms’ operative system.
His years of work as a consultant gave him lots of hands-on experience in both market and appliance of Data Mining. He worked for million-customer companies in the mail order business, telco business, insurance sector, energy sector, public transport and web-hosting. Always using state-of-the-art Data Mining software from the big players as well as open source, he successfully applied CRM optimizations, direct mailing boosting and customer insight segmentations.
